In It Together Fund - Reconstructing Lives

The mission of the In It Together Fund is to help breast cancer patients with the business of daily life while they are recovering from reconstructive surgery regardless of their financial situation. The types of support available include meal preparation, help with household chores, transportation / running errands, shopping for wigs and make-up, child and elder care, and simple companionship, and are based on the particular needs of each patient.

In It Together is not a charity. Instead — and as the name suggests — it's a network of women helping other women get through a difficult, shared experience. You join In It Together as you would any other organization. Once you're back on your feet, you agree to be a partner and advocate for others.

Montefiore has a strong tradition of service to our local community that includes caring for those who may not otherwise be able to afford it. In It Together builds on that tradition by helping breast cancer patients reconstruct their lives, regardless of their financial situation.
