Residency and Fellowship Programs

The Department of Neurology has three ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) approved training programs. They include Adult Neurology and Pediatric Neurology residency programs and a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship program. Inpatient and outpatient training sites include the Moses and Einstein Divisions of Montefiore Medical Center, the Jacobi Medical Center and the Beth Israel Medical Center. Additional non-accredited fellowships are offered in stroke, headache and research.

The Department’s clinical care programs as well as its basic science research and clinical research continue to grow. All of this enables Montefiore to provide an excellent environment to promote outstanding education and preparation for a career in neurology and to provide excellent treatment and care to those patients in need of neurology services.
