Residency
A pathology residency is a post-graduate educational and clinical training program for physicians in the United States of America. It is filled by a resident physician who has received a postgraduate medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) and is enrolled in a clinical training program affiliated with a hospital and medical school. The Department supports one of the largest postgraduate programs in the East. It is one of only 18 programs in the U.S. with Fellowships in Cytopathology, Dermatopathology, GU-Renal Pathology, GYN Pathology, Hematopathology, Neuropathology & Surgical Pathology.
