Nursing plays an integral role at Montefiore Medical Center. Our nurses practice in a variety of settings including Montefiore's two acute care hospitals, long term and rehabilitation facilities, specialty and primary care ambulatory sites, and in home care, school-based and numerous community programs.
Montefiore nurses have a long history of providing quality patient/family care. Our environment values nursing associates' knowledge-based practice skills, interdisciplinary team leadership and unique contributions to the nursing profession. All Montefiore nurses participate in nursing governance and are supported by ongoing education and training that enhance their professional growth.
