For the past 40 years, the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program has been training residents and is one of the largest and best training programs. The residency program has trained more than 500 orthopaedic surgeons and currently has approximately 30 resident surgeons participating in the program. Our residents are graduate physicians from the finest medicals schools in the United States.
All of these doctors and our attending surgeons give you the best possible orthopaedic care as they progress through their specialty training in orthopaedic surgery. At all times, they are supervised by experienced orthopaedic surgeons in our faculty.
Our professors work as full-time faculty of the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore. Our residents spend time at our two inpatient sites at the Moses and Weiler Divisions of Montefiore as well as at our Level I Trauma Center at Jacobi Medical Center.
