Based at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Montefiore-Einstein Liver Center is a novel, integrated delivery system for patients with liver disease. The Liver Center team includes top specialists in Hepatology, Oncology, Surgery, Radiology, Psychiatry, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Family Medicine and Translational Research. Every state-of-the-art treatment for liver disease is available to patients, including advanced clinical trials and novel therapeutic approaches to complex problems.
The Liver Center is unique in its holistic approach, which includes nutritional evaluation, family medicine, nurse practitioners and a full psychosocial support service. Now, patients and their referring doctors are able to access a unified model for all types of liver problems, including surgical issues, medical management, liver transplantation, liver oncology and pediatric liver disease.
