The Montefiore Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Health (MIRMH) has assisted thousands of individuals and couples in realizing their dream of becoming parents since 1986. We understand that seeking fertility treatment can be stressful, which is why we address each patient compassionately and intently, and even have a psychologist available to help you. Our patients also take comfort knowing that we incorporate the latest technologies and advancements, as well as more than 20 years of experience and expertise into their individual, customized treatment plan.
Our extraordinary team includes board-certified physicians, endocrinologists, embryologists, urologists, nurses and a psychologist working diligently everyday toward the goal of providing the highest quality care for the entire spectrum of infertility complexities. Starting with the initial consultation, we gather as much information about you from your medical histories, lifestyle, and past fertility treatments, so we can determine the precise diagnosis. Upon receiving your test results, we then review all of you options.
Our physicians will take the time to consider all possible treatment methods before recommending in vitro fertilization (IVF). While IVF may offer high success rates, it is also costly and not always necessary. We explore as many simpler and less expensive solutions as possible, so patients don't incur unnecessary costs or stress.
It's very rewarding for us to hear a patient say, "I was so worried because I thought you were going to tell me to try IVF first." Some couples are delighted to opt for IVF, but for others, they are relieved to have alternative fertility solutions.
In fact, for every patient that undergoes IVF, we have approximately four patients that experience a medical management cycle that does not involve IVF, and we're proud to boast a very normal pregnancy rate among them. Our goal is to offer you choices and options, so you can feel as comfortable as possible throughout your entire journey.
